Confirm Personal Data and Its Use | You have the right to request that We confirm what data we hold about you, and for what purposes. You also have the right to confirm whether we process your data or deliver your data to third-party processors, and for what purposes. we will supply you with copies of your personal data unless doing so would affect the rights and freedoms of others.
Change Consent | You have the right to change your consent to our use of your information. In such cases, we may require you to delete your account with me, as described above, and you may not have full access to our website.

Chapter 3 of the GDPR outlines eight rights for every Data Subject (you). These are:
The right to be informed; This means anyone processing your personal data must make clear what they are processing, why, and who else the data may be passed to.

Rights in relation to automated decision making and profiling; Data Subjects have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing.
When you opt into The Lithuanian Abroad’s newsletter, we will maintain your personal information for our records and for future communications. We will store this information on an email service provider unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
